Tennis elbow is a form of OVERUSE SYNDROME. So, the more you are involved in lifting weights with the affected hand, the more you experience pain due to stretching of the extensor tendons.
So, adequate rest is necessary for the affected limb (avoid lifting weights) for the soft tissues to heal. Analgesic medications are to be taken as and when needed.
If the symptoms are not resolving, then a local steroid injection is indicated, which provides significant pain relief for a few months.
consult an orthopedic surgeon for a detailed evaluation and further management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
