Hi,
It is usual for the placenta to be in a lower position many-a-time during this phase of pregnancy. It gets back into the upper part of the uterus as pregnancy advances and the uterus enlarges. There is, as such, no need to worry about a low-lying placenta at this stage. Be sure to follow it up and take precautions if it is seen to be persisting as you enter the third trimester, which it most likely will not. You can safely travel and get a proper opinion from your consultant. Wish you good health.
