Hi, After reading your query it appears that you developed sun tanning.
Skin color is basically dependent upon the activity of melanocytes- the color producing cells of skin. The skin color is genetically determined and varies form person to person accordingly. In yourself because of excessive sun it caused pigmentation.
The most important thing is healthy diet containing lot of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Do not try applying over the counter products as these can further aggravate the situation. Protect yourself form direct sunlight.
Use a good sunscreen on lips for 2-3 times and drink plenty of liquids everyday.
Take care.
