Any Suggestion For Belly/shoulder Pain When Drinking More Than 6 Pegs?
I m not a regular drinker and when I drink, it usually crosses the limit of 5pegs (5x60 ml of 75deg proof vodka)... I drink usually twice or thrice a month... But, when I cross the limit of 6 pegs (rarely), the upper right and left region of the belly (just under the ribs) feel a pain which usually lasts for 15-20 min followed by a subclavian region (shoulder) pain... What shall I do??? I m not a regular drinker and not very fond of fast or fatty foods... Usually maintain a disciplined lifestyle...
Alcohol irritates the lining of the gastrointestinal tract and that probably is responsible for your symptoms when you drink heavily. It will be better if you reduce the amount of alcohol you drink in a single sitting.
Best wishes.
