Any Suggestion For Chest Pain On Right Side And Back Muscle Spasms?

I am having chest pains on my right side near the breast plate. When I bend over it becomes much worse. When I press on the area I seem to feel some tenderness. I am currently experiencing back muscle spasams as I recently has a Rizotomy and I think I over did it. So far this has lasted two days. Do you have any ideas? I am 54 years old.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Probably the problem is due to rhizotomy only where the nerves are not completely severed. Also, the possibility is that the nerve endings are irritated.

I suggest you start some medicine to blunt the effect of nerves. It might take some months before you feel better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel,
