Any Suggestion For Child Suffering From Cold Even After Giving Benadryl/sinarest/calpol?

Hello Doctor,
My Daughter who is of 3 yrs old is suffering from cold since 5 to 6 days, i have been giving her a Becrynl syrup(Guess i have spelled it wrong) and sinerest along with that some 2.5 ml of Calpol 250 mg. since she has fever during evening. But the cough is still verse at nights and continuous for almost 5 min, because of this she will puke all the food given at night. Can you please guide me further.

Hello and welcome to HCM forum.

Your daughter is suffering from moderate fever in the evening ,persistent cough causing vomiting and cold.
You have already given Bricanyl syp and sinarest and calpol without any relief .

She seems to be suffering from a throat infection as well ,so she might need an antibiotic added as well specially if the fever is high,Constant cough in the night can be due to asthma /allergic bronchitis .

It is advisable to take her to a Pediatrician who will examine her throat and lungs for signs of asthma and infection and then prescribe accordingly which would bring relief promptly .
