Any Suggestion For Gas Pedal Position Causing Leg/thigh/calf/butt Pain?

Gas Pedal Leg Pain after about 45Min to an Hour in the Car. As soon as I get out and walk it is gone. No other Walking or Sitting Position does this happen, only when in the Car after an Hour or so. Sometimes in the Right Butt, others the Thigh and/or Calf. Always on the underside ??

Hello,

As mentioned in history, I feel you are getting nerve entrapment while driving the car. This could be due to the weakness of the muscles of the lower back and hip.

That is where the nerve is getting trapped and the pain is felt in the hip, thigh, leg and foot.

Having examined by an orthopedist should provide insight into the symptoms along with an MRI scan of the lumbar spine.

Usually, in certain positions, there is pressure over the nerve roots and this may lead to the symptoms you having.

In my practice of 12 years, I have seen many CSR drivers complaining about the same symptoms. They all responded well to physical therapy.

I will recommend you also the same, do some physical exercise for strengthening the muscles of the core, back, hip, thigh and legs. This should help you.

For time being I will advise you to take frequent breaks while driving the car.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
