Any Suggestion For Having Continuous Bleeding After Taking I-pill?

Hi Doctor,

My wife had a unprotected sex with me but she don't want to get pragnent now - so to avoid the unwanted pragnency i had recommended IPill but after taking this tablet she countinously having a bleeding , please advise how the bleeding can be stopped or for how many days this bleeding lasts. And is there any chances of getting pragnent.

she is usually having her period on 24th of every month and we had a sex on 14th and on 15th i had given the ipill tablet and on 16th she started with bleeding and lots of pain. Please help us doctor

usually the bleeding will last for one week.
if it is more than this period she can take t.regestrone 1 tds for 3days followed by 1bd for 2days and one od for 15 days.
she has to take it continuously to avoid withdrawl bleeding.
