Any Suggestion For Removing Dark Patches On Cheeks?
i am using melalite xl, on my cheeks some dark patches are there, it is now dull after using but when i go in the sun particular area on which i apply becomes red, for this purpose i am also using suncross gel when i am going out but also the red skin appears
Melalite XL cream contains tretinoin, mometasone and hydroquinone. It has an irritating potential and can cause redness and dryness flakiness at the application site.
It should be use sparingly once daily at night Or once every alternate day initially, only over the spots. It should not be used for more than 2-3 months on the face and that too under the supervision of a doctor, because it contains a potent steroid like mometasone which can cause steroid related side effects.
Another option is to use a different skin lightening agent e.g kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid etc once or twice daily at night. They re far less irritation in nature than melalite-XL.
Using a sunscreen regularly would help in reducing the pigmentation faster.
