Any Suggestion For Severe Pain And Bruise From Elbow To Shoulder?

Fell^(3 Weeks ago) on arm between shoulder and right elbow. Pain worse as day wears on. Pain from elbow to shoulder severe at times. Difficulty moving shoulder. knots under skin where I fell. Some bruising still present. Xray of elbow and humerus negative, ? arthritis in shoulder. Have put ice on arm, Cant see ortho for 3 1/2 weeks. Other than take pain medicine what should I do and do I need an appt. sooner? Thank you for your help

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

You should consult your doctor as soon as possible and should not ignore all this. He may do physical examination of shoulder and may act accordingly. He may advise ultrasound of shoulder joint to see the present condition of soft tissues.

You may require steroid injection in shoulder joint or in elbow joint apart form painkillers.
