Any Suggestion For Shivering In Back, Fingers Turn Red/numb During Cold?
When I go outside I wear two pairs of gloves just to clean off my vehicle. For the last two to three years, my hands cannot handle cold at all. My fingures go numb very quickly and turn really red and painful. Nothing I do seems to help. I have tried several kinds of hand coverings. Also have trouble in my back that seems weird. Often during the night I will wake up with a shiver in my back but only in a certain area of the back. I know it is not cold and I have lots of blankets on my bed but it will still happen. Again, only in a certain area of my back. Any suggestions for both issues?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The red and nub fingers during cold is due to decrease in the blood supply in the fingers due to the effect of cold. You need to keep the fingers warn to restore the normal circulation. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal , drtayal72@gmail.com
