Applied Cortisone Cream For Itchy Rash On Underarms. Is It Eczema Or Psoriasis?
Hi, I have a rash on my underarms that started on one side probably 2 months ago. Itched at first but not anymore. I ve been thinking its eczema or psoriasis. Then, recently I got a rash on my butt crack. Thought it was hemorrhoids at first but it got worse, some bumps. I started using cortisone cream on it and it seems to be helping the HORRIBLE itching I was having there. Any idea what this may be?
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having fungal infection on both places. In anal region due to severe itching there might be having secondary bacterial infection. Go for one course of antibiotic medicines. Apply antibiotic cream locally. Go for one anti-fungal oral tablet course. Take Cetrizine or Benadryl tablet for itching. Keep local part clean, dry and airy. Ok and take care.
