Alzheimer's disease is a chronic
neurodegenerative disease that usually starts slowly and worsens over time.
The most common early symptom is difficulty in remembering recent events (
short-term memory loss).
As the disease advances, symptoms can include problems with language,
disorientation, mood swings, loss of motivation, not managing self care and behavioural issues.
Since your sister doesn't have symptoms related to memory loss, it might not be Alzheimer's disease.
Other symptom of
aphasia could be due to some other cause which needs to be evaluated.
Kindly
consult Neurologist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
