Are Amlodipine, Aspirin And Magnesium Citrate Safe To Take?
I take 2.5 mg. amlodipine, 81mg aspirin , 6.25 mg carvedilol, 125 mg magnesium citrate, preservision areds 2 twice daily, and am supposed to start vit. D3 3000 unit tabs and take 1000 units by mouth every 48 hrs. also to start cholecalciferol 1000 units caps one cap daily., and start losartan 50 mg . I am 83 years old, and wonder if these are safe and how to incorporate all these and when to take them ... I was only taking the first 4 pills for several years and now i am to take these new ones. thank you .

Hello,
These medications might all be needed if you have heart disease and hypertension. They should be safe to take together. Your doctor should have given you guidelines on how and when to take the pills. Suggest you refer back to him regards this.
