Are Chrono 200mg And Levipil 500mg Taken For Seizures And Will The Seizures Affect My Married Life?

I have the problem of epilepsy.In my MRI REPORT partial onset seizures is reported.From last 9 years i am taking encorate chrono 600mg medication. I don t have any seizures for 4-5 yrs.But from some time i have noticed frequent blinking of my eyes which sometimes become uncontrollable and then started frequent seizures.So i decided to change my doctor.So from last one month i m on encorate chrono 200 mg+levipil 500 mg medication both mornibg and evening.Is this treatment is right for me and this will not become problem in my after marriage life.plzz help me out.

I would explain that this therapy is OK for epilepsy.

Anyway, if you are a woman, chrono can lead to ovarian cysts. For this reason, I would not recommend taking it. A possible treatment option would be increasing the dose of levipil up to 2000 mg per day and stop taking chrono.

Hello,

This combination of AED is safe and can improve your situation.

Anyway, if you are a young woman, I would recommend avoiding chrono as it may lead to ovarian cysts and irregular menstrual cycle.

During pregnancy, the only safe AED is lamotrigine, which is safe for the baby.
