Are Divaa OD And Ultracet Safe Medicines For The Treatment Of Migraine?
I have migrain n my doctor has advised me to take divaa od 500mg n ultracet for 4-6 months. I m 24 years old . I feel numbness for few minutes after having the medicine . Is it safe to have this medicine ?? Is it too strong medicine ?? What are the side effects of it ? How can i avoid these medicines?
Divaa OD is one of the drugs prescribed for prophylaxis of a migraine. 500mg is a good dose and it can be increased depending on your body weight. It contains sodium valproate and most of its side effects are manageable.
Ultracet has Tramadol in it which is an opioid. It can cause dependence if taken at a higher amount. Moreover, it causes tolerance i.e., it shows the same effect with time at a higher dosage.
It would be better if you discuss with your practitioner regarding the same.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
