Are Effexor, Suboxone And Gabapentin Safe To Be Taken Together?

I have a friend who is taking several different pills at once, constantly slurring her words and would line to know if she is being over medicated. Currently what I know she is taking is Effexor, suboxone, gabapentin and klonopin. Is there a website I can put these names into and see if they are over medicating her?

Yes, they are often given together. Gabapentin's only adverse event you are likely to see is sedation which occurs in about 1 in three patients taking it and it doesn't get much lower with a low dose of it and it doesn't get very bad even with higher doses of it. Also, all of these drugs have very large safety margins, so serious problems iwth them are rare.

Pharmacies have databases for the interactions.
