Are IUGR And Reverse Diastolic Flow At 8th Month Of Pregnancy Something Worrisome?
Hi ,i am 8 months pregnant and my Doppler ultrasound says my baby is in iugr and reverse diastolic flow ,doctor started lonopin injection and alamin sn+ralidex water .my baby weight is too low 900g.how i can safe my baby n keep him / her healthy inside my womb.
IUGR and abnormal doppler in ultrasound needs closer fetal monitoring. You may need to take Betamethasone to accelerate fetal lung maturity as we are anticipating an early delivery. You need more frequent biophysical profile monitoring and any finding that warrants immediate delivery should be looked into such as severe oligohydramnios (low AFI), BPP less than or equal to 4. Alamin SN can help in fetal nutrition. Try to maintain a fetal kick chart and if you are getting more than 3 kicks in an hour it assures fetal wellbeing.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
