Are Losar And Metolar Beneficial In Treating Hypertension?

i am 60 and i hv mild BP and diabetes. icurrently I am taking losar 50 / metolar am 25 / voglitor Mf .2 and nikoran 10 in the morning and clopivas AP 75 instead of nikoran 10 in the evening ( other 3 tabs in the evening also ) is this combination OK ..... I get swellings on feet if I sit in one place for say 2 hrs and effect is pronounced in high summer

Your combination is fine . Nikoran , whether you take in morning or evening make no difference .

As of your feet swelling is concerned there are many causes for that like Low protein in blood , Liver problem , Heart problem or kidney problem but in your case I think it is due to your medicine Metolar Am .

Metolar AM contains 2 medicines, Metoprolol and Amlodipine . It is this Amlodipine that is causing your feet swelling .

My advise is to stop taking Metolar Am and take plain Metolar . You need to do this in consultation with your treating docotr as dosage has to be readjusted.
