Are Rexipra-20 And Frext CR 100 Effective For OCD?

my wife 40 years old suffering OCD and taking tablets Rexipra-20 &Frext CR 100 from last one year as Local doctor suggestion. still she is always in confusion and repeats activity about cleaning by water.Please confirm how many she has to continue this tablet and there is no side effects continuing this tablet.

Rexipra contain escitalopram and at 20 mg doses it works as anti OCD medicine.

Frext contains fluoxamine and it is one of the choice in treatment of OCD.

OCD require long term treatment.

Medicines are best in their class but only thing require is compliance to these medicines.

Besides medicines behavior therapy and psychotherapy can help.Psychological counseling and cognitive behavior therapy has good review in OCD treatment.Exposure and response prevention therapy is also very helpful.
