Are Terramycin, Acsolve And Vitamin C Effective For Acne And Sunburn?
Hello. I visited skin specialist yesterday. For acne and sunburn, which cause my skin to turn dark. She prescribed me terrmaycin 250 mg and cecon vitamin c 500 mg and Acsolve (clindamycin phosphate) lotion 1% i want to know how effective would it be for my skin and acne. In how much time would i be able to get my original skin colour back?
The current prescription with Terramycin 250 mg, Cecon vitamin C and Clindamycin lotion has been shown effective in treating acne in many of my patients. Take note that different patients do react differently to the same prescription, that's why we cannot determine the exact time for your skin to get the original colour back. Hope in a couple of weeks, you'll see the difference. Keep regular follow up with your caring doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
