Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Are Yodi Pills And Supplements Effective In Gaining Weight?
Hello doctor,
I really want to add weight.I'm only 47kgs.
I want to add weight esp around my butt and breasts, currently i started taking supplements to see if they will work.I have Yodi pills+evening primrose,i also have maca powder and breast enlargement tablets. Will this be effective?
Yodi pills will do absolutely nothing to put weight on you. The pills do have some healthy ingredients and some herbs with proposed medicinal effects, but none related to weight gain or increasing muscle mass.
The best way to increase your weight is good nutrition full of healthy fats such as olives, virgin olive oil, nuts, seeds, avocados, red wine ( two drinks for men per day, one for women) and increased calories overall combined with resistance exercise with weights to build muscle tissue (bulking up). The resistance exercise may be combined with supplemental branched-chain amino acids to increase endurance and further enhance muscle building.
A complete and individualized program can be set up by a trained clinician such as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Fitness Specialist. You may find the most benefit from visiting these health professionals.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Kathy Shattler
