Gilbert's syndrome is a common genetic liver disorder. It produces elevated levels of unconjugated bilirubin in the blood (hyperbilirubinemia), but this normally has no serious consequences, although mild jaundice may appear under conditions of exertion or stress.
Person with gilbert are more sensitive to alcohol intake, your liver can deal with about ½ ounce of ethanol per hour,so drink in limits. Over the counter pain medicines can be occasionally taken. Give preference to tramadol over normal headache medicines. Acne and all are not related to it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ramesh Kumar
