Are Advantan And Fucidin Ointments Both Steroids?
hi i had a real bad rash n redness yesterday so went to the skin specialist n he gave me advantan oinment to apply at night n fucidin h cream in the day. iused advantan last night the itchiness is gone but im scared as both are steriods he said jus use it for a week.

Since your treating doctor advised you to use both the medicines for one week, I would advise you to use them as told.
I would like to tell you that advantan cream is a mild topical steroid cream and you can use it as told once a day.
On the other hand , fucidin cream is a topical antibiotic cream and is not a topical steroid agent.
So you can safely continue to use both of these agents as told.
