Are Antibiotics And Diltiazem Ointment Sufficient To Help In Relief Of Constipation Caused By Fissure In Ano?
Hi..2 weeks back I suffered with constipation .i got severe pain while going poo. I went to hospital doctor said that it was because of fissure in ano. I took antibiotics and diltiazem ointment for 1 week. After that I feel free but now again while going poo. I got yellowish red mucus like substance compared to last time I feel less pain why ? What is the reason?

The yellow mucus type discharge is from the fissure in anus .
Diltiazem and antibiotics only provide relief not treatment and in my opinion consult a surgeon and get his opinion as physical examination is very important in this case .
The next reason for pain and discharge may be due to hemorrhoids so physical examination is very important.
