Are Back Pain, Heaviness In Pelvis And Pink Spotting Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hello, I wondered if you could help. I am 35 and trying for a baby. This is our seventh month and I am 10 days late. I have very regular periods so tested day 5 and got positive pale. Then 4 negative tests. My doctor conducted a test on 9th day, also negative. Day 10 I have low back pain and heaviness on the left side of the pelvis and a very small amount of pink spotting. Could I be pregnant? Thank you, Hristina

Hi there,
After reading your question, my opinion is that:
1) Missing periods is a sign of pregnancy.
2) However, back pain, heaviness in pelvis and pink spotting may or may not indicate pregnancy.
3) You can get a blood test called serum beta HCG done for confirming pregnancy.
4) However, your symptoms could also mean impending periods also. You can just wait for a week and repeat the test or get an ultrasound done after a week.
Hope this was helpful.
Regards,
Dr. Shikha Shah
