Hi,
Though your symptoms could mean a very early pregnancy, they are also seen in the premenstrual period. If you have never been late on your cycles, please go ahead with a HPT 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine. If positive, you can follow it up with a specialist consultation and a trans-vaginal sonogram. If negative, you can either repeat the test after a couple of days or go for the blood test of pregnancy. Transient hormone imbalances also can delay periods. Hope this helps.
