Are Bloating, Nausea, Loss Of Appetite, Weight Loss And Dizziness In An Anemic Signs Of A Gall Bladder Problem?

Hi, can I answer your health question? Please type your question here... my son has been experiencing bloating, nausea, loss of appetite and weight loss recently. He is 19 years old and a college athlete. He gets dizzy often when performing and gets tunnel vision when light headed. Also he can’t catch his breath when performing. He’s constantly tired and lethargic. He has been diagnosed as anemic. But I think he could be experiencing gall bladder problems as well. What do you think?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

If he, in fact, has anemia this should be further investigated. It can be caused by many things. Gallstones typically do not present the way you describe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen,
General Surgeon
