Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have missed my periods last months and i went to doctor they suggest me cycloreg daily three times and i had it and within 10 days periods came. then now we are planning for a baby then we met doctor they gave me registrone and suggest to take it from 16th day.... but in the medical shop the gave me cycloreg again...when i asked them they told both cycloreg and registrone are same.. wheather both are same or diffrent...which tablet should i take wheather cycloreg or registrone....pls give me a solution....
I am so sorry to hear about conflicting information. They both contain the same active ingredient which is called norethisterone. The only difference is in the brand name but they do basically the same functions. Feel free to use one for the other if the prescribed is not available unless clearly denied by your physician.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and please feel free to ask for clarifications if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
