Are Calf Pain And Stomach Pain Normal After Taking Augmentin?
I started taking augmentin for a sinus infection last night and I have noticed soreness in my calf like I have worked out, except I haven t. Also, minor cramping in my stomach. I am on my period but I don t usually have cramps after the first day and today is the fourth day. Should I be worried?

Antibiotics can abdominal discomfort, they may also be associated with other abdominal symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea and vomiting.
It is not usually associated with muscle or joint pain.
This is likely from another source.
You can consider monitoring this symptom for now. The use of anti inflammatory pain killers such as ibuprofen, cataflam or naproxen may be helpful.
