Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The possibility of pregnancy cannot be ruled out as second time you didn't take any contraceptive measure. But some amount of irregularity in periods can be seen at perimenopausal age group because of hormonal imbalance also. So, better to go for urine pregnancy test once. If test gives negative result, consult your gynecologist once, get examined and if she suggests go for ultrasound and checking of FSH levels in blood. With this workup the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be taken accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
