Are Dizziness, Frequent Urination And Late Period Symptoms Of Pregnancy?
i think i may be pregnant i have the marena coil and have done 2 test and both come back negative i feel sick, dizzy, tierd all the time and need to go the toilet more i am 5 days late for my periord what is the chance of me still being pregant and how can i find out
Mirena coil is Progesterone impregnanted coil. Hence it minimises the menstrual flow; at times it may result in missing a period. The chances of pregnancy with Mirena in situ are very low.
Just feel for the threads through vagina. If you feel them, the device is in situ and pregnancy may not be there. If you do not feel the threads, please report to the Gynaecologist ASAP to locate the device.
Pregnancy test before 5 days of missing period is rather too early and may report false negative. Please repeat the test after a couple of days. Still if it is negative, you are not pregnant. Then report to the Gynaecologist. Some Oestrogen + Progesterone preparation will effect in withdrawal bleeding then.
The symptoms you are experiencing may be due to the effect of progesterone. For your urinary symptoms, please get urine examined as urinary infection due to stagnation of urine as a result of progesterone is a known side effect.
I hope this helps you.
