Hello, My recent blood work showed an alt of 91 and the ast as 71. Total bilirium 0.4, creatin .69, s. sod. 138. I am a very moderate drinker of wine and only have been doing that for the last year, I am 69 female. I have hypothryoidism and elevated gluclose levels and have had for sometime. Are my liver enzymes worrisome?
Your liver enzymes are elevated. Not worrisome but you have to find the cause. Alcohol is one of them. You must quite it and repeat liver enzymes after 6-8 weeks.

Hi, Your liver enzymes are elevated. Not worrisome but you have to find the cause. Alcohol is one of them. You must quite it and repeat liver enzymes after 6-8 weeks.
