If I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005 and a gyno did a laporoscopy in 2008 and said there is no endo visible all is normal. Can I assume that PCOS is gone as well as Endo? Last year Jun my GP did bloodwork and said my adrenal gland has stopped working. After that I went on YAZ to regulate period but I gained so much weight. Still have painfull period with heavy bleeding day 3 and 4 but my period is predictable I stopped YAZ because of all the weight gain. Can my endemetrioses be gone and PCOS or is it a life long condition?
Endometriosis and PCOS are not completely curable but the symptoms caused by them can be controlled to a large extent with the help of medicines and a healthy lifestyle.
