I have a lack of energy or motivation too do anying at all, i just want to lie in bed all the time, I am constantly worrying and stressing over everything and thinkin negativly about everything which I then start to cry about! I sleep ALL the time, my periods are irregular and always feeling sore and achy for no aparent reason. these are only a few of the things I have been going through and its got too the point I fall out with everyone because I am always down or in a mood Ime and my patner alwasy fall out as he does not think I am interested as I have no sex drive what so ever and rarly at all do anything with him? Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi,

I went through your query in detail. The symptoms that you have mentioned are highly suggestive of depressive episode. Feeling sad, crying without substantial reason, irritability, lack of energy and motivation, lack of sex drive, negative thinking.... all these symptoms are manifestations of depression.

I would suggest that you shouldn't delay or postpone seeking a psychiatric consultation any more. Yours is a condition which is highly amenable to treatment. Moreover, earlier the treatment is started, better is the response. Anti-depressants like sertraline or venlafaxine would be highly helpful.

Best wishes.
