Are Folic Acid Pills Effective For Conception?

Hi doctor I am a girl of 25 married for two years bt still have no kids went to doctor for checkup she told me everything is ok and prescribed follic acid and multivitamin named ospic-D(multivitamins and minerals) and ERA(L methylfolate400mcg) and other is (drotaverine Hcl)...will this effect me positively to conceive?

I understood your query.
When a couple does not conceive within one year of married life- consultation & investigations of both husband & wife are indicated.
Though folic acid does not help in conception directly,Folic acid is essential of good health before conception. It helps maturity of red blood cells , thus is responsible for good blood. It also prevents spinal cord defects in new born.
Multivitamin & multi minerals are heath nutrients.
A healthy couple with good sperms / ovulation have more chances of conception.
