Addiction Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, it's drainage down from the sinuses. Sometimes it is due to an infection that when it is healed up or treated it goes away.

At least as often, it is the climate/weather/allergens setting up for this and it comes right back again.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
