Are Headaches Along With Nausea, Vomiting And Diarrhea Symptoms Of Migraine?

Boyfriend got a headache at work yesterday, had some nausea and vomiting with it, came home about 6:30 and went to bed. Slept until 9:30 this morning, I asked him how he was still had a headache, have him excedrin, he went back to sleep. Had him wake up about 3 this evening to eat a cheeseburger and took more excedrin. a few hours later he had diarrhea and still has the headache. Is this all just a migraine??

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Diarrhea is not a common symptom of migraine; however, rarely it may be associated. Besides, in the present scenario the symptoms seem to be acute and of prolonged duration and so,I would suggest a physical visit to a neurologist.Besides migraine, it is important to rule out any secondary cause.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajay Panwar,
