Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. Severe acidity (
gastritis) can cause headache. Actually gastritis gives rise to visceral type of pain sensation, which can cause headache,
palpitation,
vomiting, malaise, weakness, fainting episodes. These symptoms subside along with relief in visceral pain.
For your acidity problem, try to follow these few tips
: Avoid fatty, spicy, excessive sweet food, deep fried food, chocolates, coffee and tea
: Avoid alcohol, smoking completely.
: Avoid late night meals. Try to have dinner at least 2 hours before going sleep.
: Have heavy breakfast, lighter lunch than breakfast, lightest dinner.
: Do not drink water during meal.
: Try to exercise regularly.
: If you are having complaint of reflux, sleep with head end higher than chest, like sleeping on sofa.
: You can take antacid like
Pantoprazole after proper prescription.
Still no relief, you should
consult doctor. He might prescribe treatment for H. pylori infection which is a very common cause of gastritis.
Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care
