Are Heavy Menstrual Bleeding And Delayed Periods After Taking Plan B A Matter Of Concern?

I have protected sex june 27, the condom broke and I immediately bought a plan b just to be safe.. i took the plan b around 2 hours after having sex. A week later i began spotting and it gradually turned VERY HEAVY so i bled for about 2 weeks STRAIGHT . My next period (according to my app) was supposed to come august 3, im 3 days late now. Should i be concerned ?

Hi,

The plan B works only for one occasion and you should not worry for the previous month since period came. In this month of you didn't have contacts you should not worry and the delay may be occasional. If you had unprotected intercourse you should take a pregnancy test.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
