Are Hydrophobic Lenses Better Than Hyrophilic?

Hi.I am getting my father s eye operated for cataract and wanted to decide which lens to use. Are hydrophobic lenses better than hydrophilic ones ? Doctor has recommended bosch and lomb for hydrophilic and tecnis for hydrophobic.Also wanted to know preacautions that one needs to take after operation.

you should go as advised by doctor for for hydrophilic. you have to take post operative normal precaution. no special precaution for lens.
