Are Hyperdense Cysts On An Ultrasound Report And Elevated Amylase Levels A Matter Of Concern?
Hello, I have had left side flank pain for about 3 years now, sometimes is very painful. I recently had a ct scan and ultrasound which says I have hyderdense cysts. In past my amylase levels were way high, and still are higher. Should I be concerned Thank you Brenda
Where are the cysts in the ovary? You may be suffering from polycystic ovaries. They may present like left iliac region pain. Other possibilities like left renal calculi or colon pain etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. You have to check it out by consulting your gynaecologist. She will examine and treat you accordingly.

Where are the cysts? in the pancreas or ovary? Pancreatitis or go problems or salivary gland problems may present like the elevation of the enzymes. So please consult your gastroenterologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
