Are Increased Heart Rate, Dry Nasal Passages, Infection, And Breathing Difficulty Post Rhinoplasty Procedure Normal?
Hello!i have done my nose rhinoplasty to remove e dorsal hump and i used some spry like esonid and saline spry but i feel very bad. My heart rate are up and my nose is dry inside. Also my left nostril on the incision is infected. And i am concern if am i breathing like before surgery. Before I didn’t have any breathing issues. But now sometime i feel that I can’t breathe and it makes me to feel anxiety. Thank you!
Since you have infected the nostril, you are advised to get a follow up clinical examination done by your treating ENT who did your surgery. You will be treated with oral or intravenous antibiotics and analgesics so that the healing is faster, and you do not develop breathing problem.
If needed, you will be informed of the need for an additional surgery. Get it treated at the earliest. Leaving it untreated will cause complications like problems breathing through the nose. It may also cause permanent numbness in and around the nose. Get treated at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
