Are Itching, Redness And Burning Sensation In The Vagina Symptoms Of An STD?
Hi my vagina has been itching and burning and it’s redness I just got off my period so during this time it was very complicated and when I wipe it’s brown crumbs do I have an std?? I just been to the doctor I can’t afford to go back please help what to do ???

Itching, redness or burning sensation can be due to an allergy to latex (condom), chemical irritants, bacterial vaginosis, Yeast infection, menopause, STD like Chlamydia, gonorrhea, genital warts & herpes. You need to visit ER, get physically examined & have all the tests (CBC, Urinalysis, STD tests) done. Get evaluated & treated.
In the meantime, abstain from sex, stay away from addictions, take care of your genital hygiene. Use hydrocortisone cream to apply locally to get rid of the itching & irritation. You need antibiotics & antivirals. Wear cotton clothes. Your treatment will depend upon the diagnosis.
