Are Itchy, Red Bump On Labia Minora And Milky Discharge Symptoms Of Yeast Infection?
Hi, I found a red bump like pimple on my labia minora of the area. I am also experiencing white milky discharge. It does not burn when I urinate but the bump can be itchy sometimes. I noticed it a few days ago. Over the past few weeks, I have had an odor too. I am thinking I have a yeast infection but don't know where the bump came from? Any advice. Thanks.
I have read your query and understood your concern.
Profuse white discharge with foul odor may indicate a condition called bacterial infection called bacterial vaginosis/ Trichomonas vaginitis or some times yeast infection cadidiasis . Although some times it is physiological too, if its middle of your menstrual cycles.
If the odor is foul, quantity is profuse, you should see your physician to get antibiotics and antifungals like fluconazole and secnidazole prescribed.
The bump you described seems like a fordyce spot/ ingrown hair, since it is not burning/ painful, folliculitis/ herpes doesnt seem a probability. It is not associated with the discharge and it is harmless. Unless any symptoms start appearing you can just let it be. And your itching will subside with the treatment of discharge.
Hope I helped.
