OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,
Please get a home pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample of urine and if pregnancy is confirmed, see a specialist for a clinical confirmation and also get a trans-vaginal sonogram to see the location of the gestation sac and the age of the pregnancy. If she is less than 9 weeks, she can get an induced medical abortion if you do not wish to retain this pregnancy. The whole process takes 2-3 days and should be done under medical surveillance. Follow up clinical exam and sonogram are mandatory to confirm completion of the process. Hope this helps.
