Are Less Urination And No Burning Sensation Good Signs Of Recovery From UTI?

I think I have a UTI, and it started acting up this morning, but already the symptoms are going away. Now I have to pee less and less, probably everyone hour and a half, two hours or so, and it hardly burns anymore. Are these good signs? How urgent is it that I go to a doctor if the symptoms keep lessening?

Hello dear user!
Thank you an welcome on HealthcareMagic!
I've gone through your query and understand your concerns!

Having less burning and frequent urination may be a good sign but you cant't be sure if the infection has gone. Sometimes the symptoms seems to be vanished but the infection persists. In my opinion you should not neglect this issue. I would recommend to go through a simple urine analysis to find out if there actually is any urinary infection or not. It the test come out positive a simple cure with antibiotic would resolve the problem and you would not need to contact a doctor at his office. You may take the medication at your home. In my clinical practice the similar cases like you, are treated successfully with ciprofloxacin or nitrofurantoin. Take any of these medications as the pharmacist advises. You have not to be worried, you will be fine soon.
