Are Memory Loss And Poor Coordination Side Effects Of Neuromet?

My mother is 78 years of age. Has diabetes and heart disease. Is on blood pressure medication as well. The doc has prescribed neuromet for her. Should she take it or can she do without it. She displayed some signs of memory loss and poor coordination a few days back but is now doing much better without taking neuromet

Hello
As you mentioned that your mother is an old diabetic and hypertensive patient and taking treatment for this.
She has some memory loss and poor coordination for which multivitamin i.e. neuromet ( mecobalmain B12 , folic acid , alpha lipoic aicd , B6 ) advised .
According to you memory loss and coordination problem present .
However , in old diabetic at this age some dementia is common and poor coordination may be due to memory loss .
So in my opinion consult a neurologist and get his opinion because MRI is important in this case.
Neuromet is only vitamin supplement.
Good luck.
