Are Nausea And Tiredness Normal Symptoms Of Birth Control?

The past 2 weeks I've been waking up in the middle of the night feeling extremely nauseous to the point where even drinking water makes me gag. I've also been extremely tired to where I can fall asleep within 2 mintues of laying down at any given time. I started a new birth control 2 months ago (almost done with my second month). Are these normal symptoms of birth control or could it be something else?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It could be due to the pill also. If it is too intolerable then consult your gynecologist to change your birth control pill. If nausea continues, even for the next month, then better change to another pill.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
