Are Nausea, Tender Breasts And Mood Swings Symptoms Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I had sex February 20 and my boyfriend might have accidentally came in me . I’m 18 and worried , I got tested 2 days after and my doctor hasn’t told me the results . I’ve been nauseous, have a loose stomach, very terribly emotional, and my breast are very much tender. I’m scared that I might be pregnant... my last menstural cycle was on February 8.

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you are having regular menstrual cycle with around 28 to 30 days length there is possibility of ovulation around 14th to 16th day, as you had unprotected intercourse around 13th day of the cycle we can't rule out the possibility of pregnancy completely if there was insemination of spermatozoa.
Pregnancy cannot be detected with Urine Pregnancy Test 2 days after the intercourse.
Nausea, breast tenderness, emotional fluctuations etc can be seen in pre menstrual period also so just buy the symptoms we cannot come to the diagnosis of pregnancy.
If you miss your expected date of periods please go for urine pregnancy test once again, around that time it can detect the possibility of pregnancy.
